Bilton and Woodfield Community Library is a small, friendly library at the heart of the local community.
The library is run by the Bilton and Woodfield Community Library Group, in partnership
with North Yorkshire County Council. We are a registered charity, established in
2012 to prevent library services being lost from our area. We are more than eighty
local volunteers, managing and running the library for the benefit of everyone. We
provide a full range of library services and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Our

Our volunteers do everything from fundraising to property management to story times to shelving books. We provide full training and possibilities to take on genuine responsibilities if you are interested. If you have skills you can offer, or you want to build up you skills, or if you just want to do something really rewarding in a friendly setting, then please come into the library and chat with our volunteers, or contact us via Email using firstname.lastname@example.org.
